Tapping of a spring

Fresh spring water

Tappings can be established where water emerges from hillsides of its own volition or is divined in minor depths.

Fountains are unearthed with a dredger.

Once the fountain has been unearthed sufficiently and reaches the surface, work is proceeded by hand.

Now the actual tapping is carried out. A filter pipe (pvc-pipe with slit) is installed where the water leaves.

In the following, filter gravel is poured over the filter pipe in order to make the water leave solely through the well pipe.

The outcoming water is collected in a cistern - from there it is transferred to the consumers - and the overflow is channeled to a discharge system.
